Entertainment fit for a King in Chorley!

Thousands of visitors flocked to Chorley with two of the towns popular annual events taking place over Coronation Weekend.

On Saturday, 6 May, families were treated to a variety of activities and entertainment in the beautiful Astley Park for the ever-popular Picnic in the Park event, which also included a live screening of the King's Coronation.

Sunday, 7 May, saw well over a thousand runners take part in the Chorley 10K or 2K Family Run, starting and finishing in Chorley town centre, with many more attending the event to cheer competitors on and enjoy the events run village and entertainment.
